A message from our sponsor Richards Buell Sutton LLP:

“We’re delighted to once again be partnering with the BC Beer Awards to present the Richards Buell Sutton LLP Rookie of The Year Award for BC’s top new brewery. The continued growth and success of BC’s craft beer industry is exceptional, and is anchored in the time, passion and care that everyone from tasting room staff and brewery owners to brewmasters and brewers put into what they do, day after day. As craft beer lovers, we feel pretty fortunate to be able to work with BC’s craft brewers, and welcome the opportunity to give back to an industry and a community that we feel so passionately about.  The winner of the Richards Buell Sutton LLP Rookie of The Year Award is judged on a variety of criteria, the most important of which is a brewery’s BCBA awards tally.  In addition to bragging rights, this year’s winner will get the opportunity to work with me and my team and will receive a comprehensive package of complimentary legal services and advice for their company.

Over the last year, we’ve had a fantastic time partnering with 2016’s winner Field House Brewing, helping them achieve their goals and get the recognition that their awesome brewery so thoroughly deserves. We can’t wait to partner with this year’s winner, Backcountry Brewing.”
